Based on the history and the continuing plans at Camp Cowen, the value of the ministry of the West Virginia Baptist Camp at Cowen is immeasurable. Literally thousands of people across our state have been touched by what God has done on that Holy Ground. From first-time decisions of faith to calls into ministry and missions to life-changing decisions regarding lifestyles and plans, God has worked through the generations at Cowen.
God is not finished working in lives through the ministry at Camp Cowen. We believe God’s faithfulness demonstrates the ground at Cowen is still Fertile Ground - waiting for seeds to be planted so many more generations can benefit from the generosity of those around the state who want to give back.
The Holy Ground...Fertile Ground Campaign is an amazing opportunity for you to make an immediate impact on the growth of the West Virginia Baptist Camp at Cowen. The goal is to begin construction on the new facilities in August 2007, with completion in May 2008 for the summer camping season.
